Our Story

Katie & Remi moved to Elmira, NY from Oakland, CA in June 2021 and knew they wanted to contribute to the community and be a part of Elmira’s renaissance. They had a vision to make a loaf of bread with the freshest local ingredients available. A loaf that tastes as good as it looks. A loaf equal to any you’d find in San Francisco or New York City. A loaf that delights their friends and family. A loaf that people (strangers!) would be willing to pay for.

And sourdough was born.
